Be Mine Lyrics

The lady's eyes are blue and red
When she walks by everybody turns their head, yeah
Dressed in colors and nature's queen
The sweetest thing you ever did see, oh yeah
There's a light in the sky
Says you're gonna be mine, yeah
Now, yes, I knew all the time
You were gonna be mine, alright
Now I want to know about pleasure and pain
Once you get in, you ain't never the same, no
Oh, and who's to blame if you get hurt
Got nothing to lose if it never was yours
Yeah, there's a light in the sky
Says you're gonna be mine, yeah daze, alright
Yes I knew all the time
You were gonna be mine, alright, oh
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la

La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
Don't give up, it ain't your scene
Open your eyes and hear the scream
Couple of words is all you need
Before you know it, you'll plant your seed
Oh, what's your will
And will you get some fill
There's a light in the sky
Says you're gonna be mine, yes it does, alright, yeah
Yes, I knew all the time
You were gonna be mine, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la

Kenny Wayne Shepherd and his group exploded on the scene in the mid-'90s and garnered huge amounts of radio airplay on commercial radio, which historically has not been a solid home for blues and blues-rock music, with the exception of Stevie Ray Vaughan in the mid-'80s. Shepherd was born June 12, 1977, in Shreveport, LA. The Shreveport native began playing at age seven, figuring out Muddy Waters licks from his father's record collection (he has never taken a formal lesson).
