Beginning Today - Agot Isidro

Agot Isidro-Sandejas is one of the foremost names in the Philippine entertainment industry. As a singer and TV personality, she’s been serenading fans with soulful ballads since the mid-1990’s and charming audiences through hosting stints in various shows.

Maria Margarita Amada Fteha Isidro was born on 20 July 1966 in Manila, Philippines. She was the granddaughter of film producer Narciso Isidro. Her first taste of the klieglights was when she appeared as cover girl for a magazine at 18. She then graduated in 1989 with an Interior Design degree. She worked in Singapore for a while then went to New York to study Fashion and Merchandising in New York's Fashion Institute of Technology.

She joins her sisters, who are back up singers for Sharon Cuneta, sometimes and that's where she got discovered and was asked to pinch-hit for then-pregnant Lara Melissa de Leon in Sa Linggo NAPO Sila. And as they say, the rest is history.

She continues to appear in TV guestings but has layed low ever since she got married to Manu Sandejas in 2000.
