Best I Ever Had Lyrics

Well hello there, when did you get back in town?
Pull up a chair, tell me why you look so down?
I'll order us some coffee, we can talk about old times
When the world still turned our way and you were mineThose years with you were the best I ever had
Just seeing you brought those precious memories back
And we had some good times and we had some bad
But the worst times with you were still the best I ever hadGuess we should say goodbye, it's time to go
Didn't mean to make you cry, I just wanted you to knowThose years with you were the best I ever had
Just seeing you brought those precious memories back
And we had some good times and we had some bad
But the worst times with you were still the best I ever had

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Dallas-born to a family who loved music, Deryl Dodd grew up on gospel, bluegrass, country and rootsy rock and roll. He was heavily influenced by the soulful southern music at the Hasse Revival Center where his grandfather was pastor of the small town Pentecostal church. Deryl's first performances were there, singing harmony with his three siblings. Guitar at age seven, banjo at thirteen, pedal steel at sixteen - the young Dodd's hands nearly always gripped a stringed instrument.
