Better Lyrics

I've been waiting for you to wake up
And realize I was the one
You've been waiting for me to break up
With you so we could be doneI've been working on something different
That only we could enjoy
But you've been working for something different
That only you could destroyCan't you see the waves crash over your shoulders?
Can't you see the sunshine here in my eyes?I don't wanna hear you talking
Or fear you when you're stalking
You can watch me walking
'Cause I'm so much better than that
Hear me saying I'm not participating
All the games you're playing
'Cause I'm so much better than thatNananana nanananana nananananananaI've been hoping that you would save me
So I could stand and be strong
But you've been hoping to drive me crazy
To tell them all I was wrongI'm never gonna take this anymore
I will not take your hatred anymore

So you can have your hurt and wear it like a crownI don't wanna hear you talking
Or fear you when you're stalking
You can watch me walking
'Cause I'm so much better than that
Hear me saying I'm not participating
All the games you're playing
'Cause I'm so much better than thatNananana nanananana nanananananana, yeah
Nananana nanananana nanananananana, yeahI don't wanna hear you talking
Fear you when you're stalking
You can watch me walking
'Cause I'm so much better than that
Hear me saying I'm not participating
All the games you're playing
'Cause I'm so muchI don't wanna hear you talking
Or fear you when you're stalking
You can watch me walking
'Cause I'm

Cowboy Mouth is a rock band based in New Orleans, Louisiana, taking their name from the title of a Sam Shepard play which got the term from a Bob Dylan song. The nucleus of the band, Fred Leblanc (Drums, Vocals) and John Thomas Griffith (Guitar, Vocals), formed in the early 1990s, and they climbed the ladder from an opening act living in a van to a powerhouse live act that has been called "a religious experience" by more than one music journalist. In particular their 2004 live Lincoln Park, Chicago album "Live From the Zoo" received incredible criticial praise, especially form Rolling Stone.
