Bicycle Hotel Lyrics

Stuck in a hotel in Amsterdam
It's about sundown for you
Your sleep doesn't happen easy
Choice words for the pay phone that doesn't workYou buy up some cocaine and heroin
But you can't call home
Find sleep where you can
Situations to laugh about when it's over
It's a long way from overThinking of you around the world
Thinking of you around the world
Thinking of you around the world
Thinking of you around the worldHold up in the city of Hamburg
Looking for signs of Liverpool
Turn around an' we will bowWork in Dublin, run together, caffeine fueled dreams
Scottish ladies on the parade
Walk along the [Incomprehensible], the familiar empty streets
I know who you are, used to know who you areThinking of you around the world
Thinking of you around the world
Thinking of you around the world

Thinking of you around the worldThinking of you around the world
Thinking of you around the world
Thinking of you around the world
Thinking of you around the world

Son Volt is an alternative country group which formed in 1994 in St. Louis, Missouri. The band currently consists of Jay Farrar (vocals, guitar), Chris Masterson (guitar), Andrew Duplantis (bass, vocals), Mark Spencer (keyboards) and Dave Bryson (drums). Farrar is the only original member remaining in the band. Son Volt formed after the breakup of the band Uncle Tupelo, owing to the simmering creative differences between songwriters Farrar and Jeff Tweedy. The group's members lived in Minneapolis, St Louis, and New Orleans at the time.
