Big Love Lyrics

I swear by love
You got it all and much more
Than one could ever hope for
I would take a number
Just to wait in line, for look
And to gimme the high sign
Red lights, green lights
Go for the gold
Something inside, I want you now
I want it all, more than you know
My mind is twisted, tied up in knots
My heart is achin' from a shot in the dark
I've got a feeling what this is all about
I think it's time for big love
I'm gettin' ready for the big love
Every time I think about you
I get a lump in my throat
From the big beat in my heart

I am helpless, hungry for attention
I know you could see me fall apart
Red lights green lights
Go for the gold
Something inside, I want you now
I want it all, more, more than you know
My mind is twisted, tied up in knots
My heart is achin' from a shot in the dark
I've got a feeling what this is all about
I think it's time for the big love
I'm gettin' ready for the big love
Yeah baby, I'm ready for the big love
Ready, willing and able, give me
The chance to show you I want it all
Yeah more than you know
My mind is twisted, tied up in knots
My heart is achin' from a shot in the dark
I've got a feeling what this is all about
I think it's time
My mind is twisted, tied up in knots
My heart is achin' from a shot in the dark
I've got a feeling what this is all about
I think it's time for big love
I'm headed straight through the big love
I'm comin' back, comin' back to the big love
I'm gettin' ready for the big love
Baby, I'm ready for the big love
For the big love

The Bellamy Brothers started their musical career at the end of the 1960s. In 1968, they had their first official gig, playing a free show with their father at the Rattlesnake Roundup in San Antonio, Florida, USA. They kept playing throughout the South, often with already recognized musicians, such as Percy Sledge, Eddie Floyd and others. A couple of months later, the brothers moved up north, discovering the potentials of rock/country music in Atlanta, Georgia.
