YOUVES are a punk quintet from small-town Nuneaton, UK. As if spitting in the face of their parochial backwater origins, their sound is a wide ranging spastic hybrid of post-punk, indie and hardcore spirit, alive with the fearless folly of youth. Lean, aggressive and kinetic, they’re a five-headed beast with a razor sharp sonic focus and steel eyed vision. Whilst we could lie and say that this particular name change took place due to musical evolution and a new-found sense of confidence the truth is that the Americans (Mirror Mirror) came along in a wave of hype, leading to much confusion.
