View Of a Burning City is one of the most influential bands of their genre, mixing killer riffs and ambience, with astounding, beautiful poetry, and chaotic violence. It is believed their name comes from a track off of post-rock band The Appleseed Cast's album "Low Level Owl, Volume 1". Mixing violence, with a message, they create a very unique and artistic sound, all of their own. View of a Burning City were from Lafayette, Louisiana. They broke up in 2004.
