Blackened Lyrics

Blackened is the end
Winter it will send
Throwing all you see
Into obscurityDeath of mother earth
Never a rebirth
Evolution's end
Never will it mend, neverFire to begin whipping dance of the dead
Blackened is the end
To begin whipping dance of the dead
Color our world blackenedBlistering of earth
Terminate, it's worth
Deadly nicotine
Kills what might have beenCallous frigid chill
Nothing left to kill
Never seen before
Breathing nevermore, neverFire to begin whipping dance of the dead
Blackened is the end
To begin whipping dance of the dead

Color our world blackened, blackenedOpposition
(Opposition)
Contradiction
(Contradiction)
Premonition
(Premonition)Compromise agitation
(Agitation)
Violation
(Violation)
Mutilation
(Mutilation)Planet dies
Darkest color
Blistered earth
True death of lifeTermination
(Termination)
Expiration
(Expiration)
Cancellation
(Cancellation)Human race expectation
(Expectation)
Liberation
(Liberation)
Population
(Population)Lay to waste
See our mother
Put to death
See our mother dieSmoldering decay
Take your breath away
Millions of our years
In minutes disappearsDarkening in vain
Decadence remains
All is said and done
Never is the sun, neverFire to begin whipping dance of the dead
Blackened is the end
To begin whipping dance of the deadFire is the outcome of hypocrisy
Darkest potency
In the exit of humanity
Color our world blackened, blackened

Hellsongs is an acoustic three-piece that plays what people seem to describe as Lounge Metal. That means old metal classics performed with startlingly clear and crystalline female vocals, soft guitars and organ and two male choir-boys. A cult hit online and on Scandinavian radio in the early 2000s. Harriet Ohlsson, Johan Bringhed, and Kalle Karlsson formed the group in the fall of 2004 and played their first show at a barn in rural Sweden.
