Representing Hempstead, Long Island, New York is the duo Hus and SmooVth who make up the hip-hop crew Tha Connection. Young in age but old souls in the game with musical influences including Slick Rick, Wu-Tang Clan, DJ Premier, AZ, D.I.T.C., Pete Rock, Jeru the Damaja, Nas, MF DOOM, and Jean Grae, to just name a few. Tha Connection's debut, and relatively unknown release, is titled Connect, and was released in 2007.
