Blaze Lyrics

(for nights, and days we blaze)
Inhale, don't it feel good?
Pass it around so we all could
Be on the same plain, I dwell amongst the clouds
Dream of other styles, captivate, (meditate)
Open a bag that hasn't been touched
A pile of bud, a sack of blunts
Get backwoods to get back, good
Fools
Number one cash drop
Five g's to drop
With no seeds to pop,
Time to recop,
Throw the stress in the trash can
As we laughin'
At the afghan

Of the herb I'm a fan
T-h-c, keep it all in me
Cant you see I'm
Gonna get some
Bubble gum
Been around the world like puffy
Puffin in exotic hot spots
(in exotic pot spots)
Spit from heaven above, hourly dove
She started from the seed to sex the female
Couldn't cut her, couldn't taste her till the hairs was half pale
Trade affiliated
Chillin' 96 degrees in the shade faded
And god bless my
D-j Ty
Keepin' my dubs wise
Pockets broke in size
Haterism on the rise
(no joke, man)
Lacin' up, tokin' herbals, tokin' verbals
Fuzzy like gerbals
Off the plant I pick it,
To the paper I stick it,
Fine lime fruity smell makes even straights wanna kick it,
Taste it,
Better organically grown, sun basted
I go batty batty batty
Burnt seats in the caddy
Due to 320 hollow florescent sodium
Clipped and transplanted
Females, have your eyes slanted
Iris burgundy,
Phasing in and out
With lots of laughs and a couple of blunts
Up the charts I'm scalin',
I got the bomb for you,
There's no need for hatin'
I got nugs you can hug like pimps
It don't mean a thing to me
Just don't double clutch,
Pass the stuff I know you had enough
Gettin' all freaky and stuff
Trees for breakfast, trees for lunch
Rockin' weed, kool aid punch, Nestle crunch
Crunch buds
Lots of love and peace sign
I feel fine
(for nights and days we blaze)
Hella zoned, hella blown
Hit up my man on the telephone
Fried, sky high
Bake for the day, fry now pay later
Comin' up on the superb herb
Flowers,
T-h-c powers
Got me higher than sears towers

ambient, jagged slo-core that takes you on a cathartic trip to an otherworldy realm of fantastical imagery- hilo has been creating emotional intensity since 1996. It's last record: "never forget to breathe" : continues the rollercoaster ride of fusing melodic sounds and peaceful aggression.

..... The members of Hilo currently communicate telepathically. Johnathan continues his attack on the hegemon through :METIVE:, a creative agency concentrating on controlling the world through design. John Panza also infiltrates through University English teaching and general mindfuck. Brian can be found on subways in Chicago sneaking photographs of strangers while trying to make a difference, Jenifer Bair was compelled to migrate to the sunny land of west coast and plastics to satisfy her nomadic urges and to make more songs in electronica/downtempo project FIREBIRD.

..... PART: IV The Tiny Destroyers: Johnathan, Brian, and Jenifer soon found their way back to each other. The three began to write again with drummer John Panza of the Cleveland indie rockers Simoom. What resulted was their latest album {never forget to breathe}, because they had.

..... PART: III After a bit of regional touring and a trip to CMJ, HILO took a break to work on other projects. Pat took a leave to play with :QUICKENING: . Johnathan and Brian took time out to help spread the word and form the anthemetic rock mesiahs, >THE MESSAGE AND THE SENDER< with Duvalby Bros: Buzz and Beatle boron. Jenifer began to collaborate with BIOHAZARD guitarist Billy Graziadei in the Electronica/Trip-hop project: BLU.

.... PART: II Wamis took leave to study the mechanics of the human body in a state known as California. Brian Ulrich of the legendary Flying Carpet People enlisted. The band moved onward and delved deeper into peaceful aggression, experimenting with classically influenced song structures. From this period came the recordings of the infamous Chicago :BURG SESSIONS.

.... PART: I Hilo formed circa 1996 during the good summer in the vulcanized rubber capital of the world when ENGINECORE math rockers Wamis Singhatat and Johnathan Swafford began to collaborate with vocalist Jen Bair. The three intertwined beautiful melodies with dissonant guitar and bass structures- this became the method of relating artfully inspired thematic imagery. After brief stints in the surrounding bar scene without a drummer Pat Ginley joined the group. What ensued was the album: THIS IS THE DESTROYER. Read more on Last.fm.
