Blue Skies (Flux Pavilion Remix) Lyrics

So these are the figurines
Acting out all the scenes before my eyes
I thought I knew them all by name
But they started looking much the same
And it's no surpriseBut I don't wanna listen
Too much
How can I give up on all the days I know I've won
There's nothing but rainbows
I believe in the shadowsNow honey
Thought I might be dropping out
But now I am gonna work it out
I am gonna work with me
I am runnin' like it looser
Then I'm rolling like sea rusty ship on a stormy seaYou know that people are saying
Strange thingsTalk to the hand 'cause I know you think the face is goneI don't wanna listen
Too much
I'm not gonna give up on all the days I know I've won
There's nothing but blue sky

There's nothing but blue skyNothings gonna stop me now
I am skimming like a skipping stone on a silver lake
I take it when the chips are down
But to play the perfect happy clown
You gotta make a mistake (gotta make mistakes)People are saying
Strange things
And I don't wanna listen (i don't wanna listen)
Too much yeahNothing but blue sky
Blue skyHow can I tell you I know this wont be the last song
I don't wanna listen (i don't wanna listen)
Too much
Not gonna give up on the days I know I've wonThat's where I am going
'Cause there is nothing nothing but blue sky
That's where I am going
Nothing but
Rainbows falling down on me uh yeah heyyyNothing but blue sky
Can't you see
That's where I am going
Got to believe me
That's where I am going

Jamiroquai is a funk/acid jazz band which formed in London, England, United Kingdom in 1992. The band currently consists of Jason 'Jay Kay' Cheetham (vocals), Matt Johnson (keyboards), Rob Harris (guitar), Paul Turner (bass), Derrick McKenzie (drums) , Sola Akingbola (percussion), Lorraine McIntosh (backing vocals) and Hazel Fernandez (backing vocals). The name "Jamiroquai" is derived from the Native American Iroquois tribe, with which Kay has said he identifies philosophically, combined with 'Jam', as in musical jamming.

After Jay Kay auditioned unsuccessfully to be the singer of the Brand New Heavies, he decided to put together his own band. Jamiroquai's first single, "When You Gonna Learn?", was released in 1992 on the Acid Jazz label. Following its success, Kay signed a £1,000,000 eight-album record deal with Sony BMG Music Entertainment. The band enjoys worldwide popularity and is the best-known member of the early-1990s London-based acid jazz movement, alongside groups such as Incognito, Galliano, and Corduroy. Jamiroquai has since, however, moved in other musical directions.
