White Knuckle Ride Lyrics

Yeah! Gonna make it better.
Yeah! Gonna make it right!
Here it is, there's no way to make it better.
gets you down, It's pressure (pressure)
I'm serious, troubled genie's on the way
Gotta a little something for you, it's pressure (pressure) it gets ya
No it ain't what you know
But I knew that anyway
I can't let this pressure go
This pressure's here to stay yeah
Chorus:
Yeah! (White Knuckle Ride)
Gonna make it better
(White Knuckle Ride, I'm on it baby)
Yeah! (White Knuckle Ride)
Gonna make it right
(White Knuckle Ride, I'm on it)
It's not so easy to control (pressure)

It's not so easy to control (pressure)
There's no easy way to make it better
There it is (there it is)
Couldn't change it if I wanted
Taste it all the time
It's pressure (pressure)
Yeah-hey! Oh baby
Step into the light
Don't know if I can recover (don't know if I can recover)
Got me round its little finger (Got me round its little finger)
Pressure (pressure)
There it is (there it is)
Couldn't change it if I wanted
Taste it all the time
Step into the light
Don't know if I can recover
Taste it all the time
(I taste it all the time, yeah!)
Chorus:
Yeah! (White Knuckle Ride)
Gonna make it better
(White Knuckle Ride, I'm on it baby)
Yeah! (White Knuckle Ride)
I know I'm gonna make it right
(White Knuckle Ride, I'm on it)
It's not so easy to control (pressure)
It's not so easy to control

Jamiroquai is a funk/acid jazz band which formed in London, England, United Kingdom in 1992. The band currently consists of Jason 'Jay Kay' Cheetham (vocals), Matt Johnson (keyboards), Rob Harris (guitar), Paul Turner (bass), Derrick McKenzie (drums) , Sola Akingbola (percussion), Lorraine McIntosh (backing vocals) and Hazel Fernandez (backing vocals). The name "Jamiroquai" is derived from the Native American Iroquois tribe, with which Kay has said he identifies philosophically, combined with 'Jam', as in musical jamming.

After Jay Kay auditioned unsuccessfully to be the singer of the Brand New Heavies, he decided to put together his own band. Jamiroquai's first single, "When You Gonna Learn?", was released in 1992 on the Acid Jazz label. Following its success, Kay signed a £1,000,000 eight-album record deal with Sony BMG Music Entertainment. The band enjoys worldwide popularity and is the best-known member of the early-1990s London-based acid jazz movement, alongside groups such as Incognito, Galliano, and Corduroy. Jamiroquai has since, however, moved in other musical directions.
