Blue Velvet Lyrics

we said wait 'til march
i should've stayed in that time
the crashing comes right on byand i just didn't think of my childhood there,
the way that i leap through reality, well,
it was alrightbut i feel for you, son
that place smiles
but when i woke up inside and i felt the blue velvet feed inside the same old place
now i would trade the world back but my mind's only distant, so...i make that trip to the only place
where we kissed and played out til late
the door was open so i couldn't see
the sight was wrong and new to mebut i feel for you, son
that place smiles
but when i woke up inside and i felt the blue velvet feed inside the same old place
now i would trade the world back but my mind's only distant, so...but i feel for you, son
that places smiles
i feel the moment in time but i shouldn't come back here again
'cause in the end it's alright and i know that i'll feel it again
