Boa Lyrics

Wash over me like rain
Can't get the hold on it
Just stay for one more day
But your eyes tell me you're afraidlet me proof that I can be
In a life we both believe
No timidity past
Mark my words babe and take my hand
Mark my words babe and take my handWell for a moment all the words are spoken and I feel alone
Ga ga ga, well I love you
Are you falling are you healing, are breaking, leaving in a minute
Well I hate you tooSome words is to be saidThe taste of summer days
Reminds me of a tale
Freeze dried five hours of pain
Drops from her eyes now bring the rainLet me proof that I can be
In a life we both believe
No timidity past
Mark my words babe and take my hand
Mark my words and just take my handWell for a moment all the words are spoken and I feel alone

Ga ga ga, well I love you
Are you falling are you healing, are breaking, leaving in a minute
Well I hate you tooAre you falling are you healing, are breaking, leaving in a minute
Well I hate you tooSome words is to be said

T.S. Monk is the son of the late jazz pianist and co-founder of bebop, Thelonious (Sphere) Monk. T.S. is a drummer with a hard-bop sound. While he does cover some of his father's material, Monk Jr.'s sextet tended to focus on more obscure jazz tunes such as Clifford Jordan's "Middle of the Block" or Kenny Dorham's "Philly Twist". Their sound is sharp and tight, hewing close to arrangements by trumpeter Don Sickler, but with "consistently inventive" solos (AMG).
