Body Heat Lyrics

Can you feel it? Can you feel it?
Can you feel it? Don't you? Don't you feel it?
Can you feel it? Can't you feel it?Give me your hand, I'll give you mine
Fire and water mixed up in one sign
My temperature's rising and it's not surprising
When you're close to me, baby so tantalizingI can't help myself, I get so excited
Why do I act in this fashion?
Why can't I control my passion
Start to freak outSome call it soul fire, I call it hearts desire
Come on baby, gonna take you higher
I'm gonna give you the warmth
Guaranteed to inspireWhen we meet, feel the heat
Ain't it sweet, feel that body heat
When we meet, feel the heat
Ain't it sweet, feel that body heatWhen we meet, feel the heat
Ain't it sweet, feel that body heat
When we meet, feel the heat
Ain't it sweet, feel that body heatI feel your body heat, I feel your body heat, your body heat

I feel your body heat, your body heat, your body heat
I feel your body heat, your body heat, your body heat
I feel your body heat, your body heat, your body heatGive me your hand, I'll give you mine
Fire and water mixed up in one signOh, I like it, I like it a lot
Come on baby, give it all you got
I'm getting warm, but wait till I get hot
I'm a genie non-fiction
Rub me till you feel my frictionSome call it soul fire, I call it hearts desire
Come on baby, gonna take you higher
I'm gonna give you the warmth
Guaranteed to inspireWhen we meet, feel the heat
Ain't it sweet, feel that body heat
I feel your body heat, I feel your body heat
I feel your body heatWhen we meet, feel the heat
Ain't it sweet, feel that body heat
I feel your body heat, I feel your body heat
I feel your body heatWhen we meet, feel the heat
Ain't it sweet, feel that body heat
I feel your body heat, I feel your body heat
I feel your body heatCan you feel it, oh?

A 1970s funk band, best known for launching the career of their lead singer, Chaka Khan. Major hits during their career include "Tell Me Something Good," "Sweet Thing," and "Ain't Nobody"
Rufus gained a fan in Stevie Wonder thanks to their cover of his "Maybe Your Baby." Wonder gave them a new composition, the slowly grinding "Tell Me Something Good," that he'd written specifically with Khan's vocal style in mind. Pulled as a single from their second album, 1974's Rags to Rufus, "Tell Me Something Good" was a Top Five smash that turned Rufus and Khan into stars....
