Bonnie Taylor Shakedown... 2k4 Lyrics

Visit you at Baskin-Robbins all the time
To let know that I am yours and you are mine
So we can take long walks through Central Park
And hold each others hands to fight the dark
So you know that you're never on your own
So you know that you're never on your own
My Bonnie lies over the ocean
My Bonnie lies over the sea
And every night at 2 a.m.
I wonder why can't she lie close to me
Remember all the times you let me walk you to class
You would kiss my cheek I'd never have to ask
You're going away in late September
Here's a thanks for a summer I will always remember
So you know that you're never on your own
So you know that you're never on your own
My Bonnie lies over the ocean
My Bonnie lies over the sea

And every night at 2 a.m.
I wonder why can't she lie close to me
Baby girl I hope that you've been thinkin' about me
'Cause I was thinkin' about you
And nothin' gonna keep us apart girl
Just let the music guide you
Let the music bring you back to me
Here it goes girl, going back home
My Bonnie lies over the ocean
My Bonnie lies over the sea
And every night at 2 a.m.
I wonder why can't she lie close to me
My Bonnie lies over the ocean
My Bonnie lies over the sea
And every night at 2 a.m.
I wonder why can't she lie close to me
