Cristal Marie is a Dominican actress, singer-songwriter, and philanthropist, nominated for Best Actress at the 2012 Casandra Awards for the role of Effie Melody White in the first official Latin American adaptation of the Broadway hit musical DREAMGIRLS.

Mixing exotic sound fusions and a versatile 3-octave voice, her theatrical performances and a knack for catchy hooks have also won her the coveted Casandra Award for Best Singer, a Berklee Canta songwriting award, a Latin Pride Youth Achievement award, and a winning spot on the 17th Annual Billboard World Song Contest.

As President of the Cristal Marie Foundation she has been nominated 3 times for Woman of the Year (Diario Libre).
