Bravado Lyrics

If we burn our wings
Flying too close to the sun
If the moment of glory
Is over before it's begunIf the dream is won
Though everything is lost
We will pay the price
But we will not count the cost
We will pay the price
But we will not count the costWhen the dust has cleared
And victory denied
A summit too lofty
River a little too wideIf we keep our pride
Though paradise is lost
We will pay the price
But we will not count the cost
We will pay the price
But we will not count the costAnd if the music stops
There's only the sound of the rain

All the hope and glory
All the sacrifice in vainAnd if love remains
Though everything is lost
We will pay the price
But we will not count the cost
We will pay the price
But we will not count the costAnd if love remains
Though everything is lost
We will pay the price
But we will not count the costAnd if love remains
Though everything is lost
We will pay the price
But we will not count the costAnd if love remains

Gregorian is a German band headed by Frank Peterson that performs gregorian chant-inspired versions of modern pop and rock songs. The band features both vocal harmony and instrumental accompaniment. Originally, Gregorian was conceived as a more pop-oriented group in the vein of Enigma. Under this concept, they recorded the 1991 album Sadisfaction, with lead vocals provided by The Sisters of Oz: Susana Espelleta (Peterson's wife at the time) and Birgit Freud. However, this was the only album in that style.
