Broken Glass Lyrics

Long distance information, ring me 608
Laughing at the other end
get me my prescription, come and walk my dog
please get me anything
You can't seal fate with a kick
You should know it doesn't work that way
As for your lofty aspirations
You couldn't give them all away (throw away)
Those precious things that juist don't last (throw away)
Everybody's been cut like broken glass
Long distance information sounds like broken glass
Just how long is all of this really gonna last
Get someone I used to know
In another place of time
Please please me
You've been places I'll never go
Begged the questions I'll never know

You've had so many arms around you
This time you've hit an all-time low
So many things just don't last
So many things like broken glass

Enjoy the lyrics !!!
The Battleship Agenda is a Rock/Pop/Pop punk band from Denver, CO. It began with the demise of a handful of local Denver bands. Nick Ferro from 6afraidof7, Tyler Call and Kellen Niemeier from Falls Ruin, and Kat Barnes formerly of Random Hero. They started writing songs to record their debut EP Sound the Sirens in May of 2009. Without a permanent drummer, Sean Bennet of The Heyday filled in for the recording of the EP. After it's completion, the search for a permanent drummer led them to close friend Chris Brinson, formerly of The Calefaction. After 2 months of preparation, they had their first live performance opening up for Unwritten Law at The Bluebird Theatre in Denver, CO to a near sold-out crowd. They began playing shows regularly around Denver, even coming in the top 10 for Channel 93.3's "Big Gig" and also in the"Hometown for the Holidays" competition that same year. In early 2010, the band had a falling out with Kat and she quit the band, after playing a few shows with a fill in vocalist they decided to take a break for awhile and find a new singer. While on their hiatus, bassist Kellen Niemeier decided to part ways with the band. Soon after, long time friend and former Ruin Sisera bassist, Casey Ottmann, was brought into the glory. Ottmann, along with Ferro, took on the responsibility of performing vocals, and together they began to orchestrate the band’s transition. Casey came on board only a month before The Battleship Agenda played on the Ernie Ball Stage at Van’s Warped Tour 2010, and only a couple weeks before Tyler announced his departure. To take Tyler's place, the band chose Keoni Akina, also of Ruin Sisera and long time friend of the band. Finally whole again, The Battleship Agenda is moving forward and continuing to make a name for themselves.
