Burn the World Lyrics

I ain't singin' this song about everything baby
That I know that I ain't got
I ain't playin' this song about anything baby
'Cause you know I ain't got a lot
You say take what is given
I say take what you can
You say lord have mercy
The boy's got no future plans
I wanna burn the world down
Pour some gasoline
I wanna feel the blue flames
Burn my skin
Don't need no reasons why (Burn the world)
I feel alive when I burn the sky (Burn the world)
Don't need no reasons why (Burn the world)
I feel alive when I burn the sky (Burn the world)
I ain't waitin' on this corner by the bus stop baby
'Cause I think I'll catch a ride

I ain't waitin' on this corner for another chance
'Cause I know I ain't got the time
You say just wait a minute
Talk to you please
I ain't got the time to spend
To try and cure my disease
I wanna burn the world down
Pour some gasoline
I wanna feel the blue flames
Burn my skinDon't need no reasons why (Burn the world)
I feel alive when I burn the sky (Burn the world)
Don't need no reasons why (Burn the world)
I feel alive when I burn the sky (Burn the world)
Solo
If you can forgive yourself
Then you are forgiven
If you cannot
Then you are condemned
You may not want to do it
But you must
You may not need to do it
But you will
Burn the world
Don't need no reasons why (Burn the world)
I feel alive when I burn the sky (Burn the world)
Don't need no reasons why (Burn the world)
I feel alive when I burn the sky (Burn the world)
I don't need no reasons
To burn the world
I don't need no reasons
To burn this fuckin' world
Don't need no reasons why
Don't need no reasons why

In the summer of 1989, three best friends, vocalist/guitarist Georg Dolivo, bassist Reeve Downes and guitarist Greg Fields met a drummer, Liam Jason, for the first time in a small rehearsal studio north of Los Angeles, California. They were soon to be one of the most popular bands to come out of the then exploding LA hard rock scene. Rhino Bucket featured no frills, “put it on 11” style deliberately reminiscent of bands such as Bon Scott-era AC/DC that quickly made them head-banging favorites.
