Burnin' Bridges Lyrics

Spotlights have a funny glow
They can keep you warm, but they can make you go crazy
Always got to be the show
So you never know what it's like bein' in the crowd
Lately I'm hearing people say you're a runaway
And somebody's got to
Bring you back to reality
Help you see the things that you might have been lookin' past
I ain't burnin' bridges
I'm tryin' to mend them
I apologize
If I ever hurt your feelings
Got my own convictions and I got to live them
I ain't burnin' bridges
That ain't my intention
Ain't got nothin' to hide
Yeah I'm good with God, my soul is naked like water
You n I wouldn't want to see

The girl I'd be, if I wouldn't have turned you down
You showed me so many things
But the best would be never ever rolled over
Stand up for what I believe
And eventually everyone will come back around
I ain't bunin' bridges
I'm tryin' to mend them
I apologize
If I ever hurt your feelings
Got my own convictions and I got to live them
I ain't burnin' bridges
That ain't my intention
[outro]
Always three sides to every story
There's yours and theirs mine
But we've been ignorin'
The truth it hides
Behind a clear disguise
Ohh..I ain't bunin' bridges
I'm tryin' to mend them
I apologize
If I ever hurt your feelings
Got my own convictions and I got to live them
I ain't burnin' bridges
That ain't my intention

Its been a Short And Sweet 14 years since three crazy barnyard hooligans known as the MCRACKINS were hatched onto the international punk scene with the release of their official debut full-length album What Came First? on Shredder Records in the U.S.A. Although many were at first skeptical of Vancouver, Canadas mysterious and strange looking pop-punk trio, the 1995 album turned out to be a surprise hit from an unknown band who claimed to have been transformed from men to 2 eggs and a dog and given super pop-punk powers as the result of a freak nuclear accident.
