cuts like a knife Lyrics

So you say your new girlfriend's a little too friendly
You caught her telling one more lie, one too many
You say she won't love you right, she stays out so late at night
Lately you've been thinking 'bout the timeYou could have been mine
You could have been mineIt wasn't very long ago you had my attention
And what she did that turned your head, well, I won't mention
I won't say I told you so but there's one thing you should know
I was seeing hearts and ValentinesYou could have been mine
You could have been mineThat's the chances we take with the choices we make
There's gonna be mistakes from time to time
And you could have been mineNow you've got your bed all made so lay alone in it
Don't even think about what we could've been for even one minute
But I'd have been your Juliet, I never gave you one regret
But don't you let that cross your troubled mindWhen you could have been mine
You could have been mineThat's the chances we take with the choices we make
There's gonna be mistakes from time to time
Oh, you could have been mineCould have been mine
Could have been mine

Could have been mine
...

Its been a Short And Sweet 14 years since three crazy barnyard hooligans known as the MCRACKINS were hatched onto the international punk scene with the release of their official debut full-length album What Came First? on Shredder Records in the U.S.A. Although many were at first skeptical of Vancouver, Canadas mysterious and strange looking pop-punk trio, the 1995 album turned out to be a surprise hit from an unknown band who claimed to have been transformed from men to 2 eggs and a dog and given super pop-punk powers as the result of a freak nuclear accident.
