Minipop is a self-proclaimed "dream pop" band from San Francisco, California, formed by Tricia Kanne (vocals/guitar), Lauren Grubb (drums), Matthew Swanson (guitar/keyboard) and Nick Forte (bass) in 2004. San Francisco coeds Minipop arrive on the scene with their debut record "A New Hope", making music that recalls the Cardigans' effortless pop perfected tunes. Vocalist Tricia Kanne's delicate voice soars over the keyboard laden arrangements and layered guitars creating a lush brand of dream pop.
