C.C. Rider Lyrics

Well now see, C. C. Rider
Well now see, see what you have done
Well now see, C. C. RiderWell now see, see what you have done
Well you made me love you woman
Now your man has comeSo I'm goin' away now baby
And I won't be back till fall
I'm goin' away now babyAnd I won't be back till fall
Just might find me a good girl
Might not be comin' back at allWell now see, C. C. Rider
See now the moon is shining bright
Well now see, C. C. RiderSee now the moon is shining bright
Just might find me that good girl
And everything would be alright

His most successful recording was "C. C. Rider," which topped the rhythm and blues chart in 1957 and also sold well in the pop market. He died suddenly of peritonitis while at the peak of his career, just after "What Am I Living For?", backed by "Hang Up My Rock & Roll Shoes", was released.
