Cadillac Lyrics

Mama, I need a ride, yeah
Somewhere like that
Would you mind?
Would you mind? Sing
I was on aisle 95 on my way to Mickey D's
When the back lights I went flash
That's when a sexy little thing with a curl, tongue ring
Jumped out of a black Cadillac
Now she had a hourglass figure, no sign of a man
And all she said when she offered a ride was
Hey baby listen, you can drive on one condition
I'm drivin' to get inside
She said if you want to ride in my Cadillac
You gotta know how to act, when to jump in the back
You gotta touch me like you wanna be touched
Like it ain't too much for you
She said if you want to ride in my Cadillac
You gotta know how to act, when to jump in the back

You gotta touch me like you wanna be touched
Like it ain't too much for you, babe
Now when I jumped in that's when she begin
Comin' and attackin' on me
Then she stopped the car, told me to drive
'Cause she had a little trick from me to see
So I followed her directions to turn where she said
Not worryin' 'bout where we supposed to be
And as I got no signal, all I heard was the words
And the hands and she said to me, see
She said if you want to ride in my Cadillac
You gotta know how to act, when to jump in the back
You gotta touch me like you wanna be touched
Like it ain't too much for you
She said if you want to ride in my Cadillac
You gotta know how to act, when to jump in the back
You gotta touch me like you wanna be touched
Like it ain't too much for you
She said if you want to ride in my Cadillac
You gotta know how to act, when to jump in the back
You gotta touch me like you wanna be touched
Like it ain't too much for you
She said if you want to ride in my Cadillac
You gotta know how to act, when to jump in the back
You gotta touch me like you wanna be touched
Like it ain't too much for you, baby
How far will then I risk it?
Have you been there before?
Come on now slow I'll take you
And leave you thirst for more
She said if you want to ride in my Cadillac
Like it ain't too much for you
She said if you want to ride in my Cadillac
You gotta know how to act, when to jump in the back
You gotta touch me like you wanna be touched
Like it ain't too much for you
She said if you want to ride in my Cadillac
You gotta know how to act, when to jump in the back
You gotta touch me like you wanna be touched
Like it ain't too much for you

Raheem DeVaughn's debut album was "The Love Experience;" his critically acclaimed follow-up was "Love Behind The Melody."

DeVaughn's musical story began with his mother's vinyl collection. "I always loved music so I would sneak into her record collection when she wasn't around and play her stuff." DeVaughn's father, noted jazz musician Abdul Wadud was also an influence. DeVaughn knew at an early age that he would become an entertainer.

DeVaughn graduated from High Point High School in Beltsville, Maryland; then headed to nearby Coppin State. It was the first day of college that changed the course of his life. "I saw a group of guys standing outside singing, Boyz II Men style," remembers DeVaughn. "I just went up there and started harmonizing with them. Before I knew what was going on, I was in a group, cutting class to write lyrics and record." After winning $2,000.00 in a talent show at Bar None, a Washington D.C. nightclub, DeVaughn decided to go for broke and invested all of his winnings into a CD burner. Several independent releases led to a showcase with [album]Jive Records[/album], and the career was on it's way.
