"Formed on February 19th, 1980, "In the Sun" originally manifested itself as an all pre-teen experimental ACDC cover band project touring the interior of Australia tastefully delivering the music to the people until lead singer Henry Lawson was drowned chasing a kowari during a bad bad bad 6-drop LSD trip in the environs of Lake Eyre. In March, Lawson was replaced by washed-up Lou Reed. It soon became apparent that Lou was interested in crafting a Metal Machine Music II. He was promptly shot. In 1984, after serving long prison sentences, In the Sun's members decided to go their separate ways- UNTIL NOW (2006). Reformed as a Adam Ant b-side only cover band, "In the Sun" has retaken up it's mission in Australia: tastefully delivering the music to the people. NEW P.R. Manager: Rachel Moldauer."
