Item Nine is an up and coming Rock and Roll band hailing from Muncie, IN. The band was first formed in jam sessions shared by the Drummer Gary Wable and Guitarist Jeramy Whitaker. The two would play together with other musicians for another year before finding Bassist Austin Pursifull, and Lead Singer Rex Phelps Jr. Although the band is rooted in a new form of Heavy Metal, Item Nine's diverse sound can only be explained by the bands openness to all genres of music, with influences in all forms of Metal and Alternative Rock, to Electronica, Indie Rock, Punk and Blues.
