Casualty Lyrics

Too close to see so much of love we stopped breathing
Sweet history ain't enough to keep my heart beating
So many tears for you I sacrificed
Too many lies for you I justified
How can you stand there say you know whos to blame
How can you act like everything is OK
CHORUS:
Don't tell me you love me
Then put the gun to my head
And say I'm not trying, oh
Don't tell me you want me
Then come to my neck
And pretend we're not dyin'
One of us has got to leave
Or one of us is gonna be a casualty
It's cold in here
An' my heart still wants you to hold me
Baby, you're never here

But when you with me i get so lonely
I see you talking but your lips don't make a sound
You see me crying but my tears don't hurt you now
How can you stand there say you know who's to blame
How can you act like everything is OK
CHORUS:
Don't tell me you love me
Then put the gun to my head
And say I'm not trying, oh
Don't tell me you want me
Then come to my neck
And pretend we're not dyin'
One of us has got to leave
Or one of us is gonna be a casualty
Breathe in breathe out,
Defend or back down over and over again
I stand there and you go
Mender and i fall over and over again
CHORUS:
Don't tell me you love me
Then put the gun to my head
And say I'm not trying, oh
Don't tell me you want me
Then come to my neck
And pretend we're not dyin'
One of us has gonna to leave
A one of us is gonna be a casualty

Lovehammers are a Chicago-based, post-grunge rock band. Their lead singer is Marty Casey, who was runner-up on the television show Rock Star: INXS. Although Casey finished as the runner-up, he and his band, Lovehammers, were invited by Tim Farriss to be the opening act for INXS's 2006 World Tour. Lovehammers were formed when Casey was 14, with friends Billy Sawilchik (guitarist), and brothers Bobby Kourelis (drummer) and Dino Kourelis (bassist). The band was originally called "Swinging Lovehammers" before changing their name simply to "Lovehammers" in 2000.
