Cat Squirrel Lyrics

Well I’m goin, Yes I’m goin’
Baby don’t you want to go?
Well I’m leavin’ in the mornin’
And won’t be back
And I won’t be back
Won’t be back
Won’t be back
Lord I went down
Went to the church house
Girl, they taught me to pray
On my knees I went
And not a word, not a word
Sure enough not a word
Lord my baby, she got wind
And she came down, and caught that dance
She done caught that dance

Caught that dance
She done caught that dance

Overview and career Ross played various forms of the blues that have seen him compared to John Lee Hooker and Sonny Boy Williamson I, and is perhaps best known for the recordings he made for Sun Records in the 1950s, notably “The Boogie Disease” and “Chicago Breakdown”.
