Change It Lyrics

You can't change it
Can't re-arrange it
If time is all that we got
Then baby, let's take itLovin' is a lovin'
The moment is alright
It's worth all the years in the past
Let's go one more nightGet away from the blind side of life
Honey, I want you to be by my side
Me an' my back door moves ain't no more
No moreGet away from the blind side of life
Honey, I want you to be by my side
Me an' my back door moves ain't no more
No moreGet away from the blind side of life
Honey, I want you to be by my side
Me an' my back door moves ain't no more
No moreGoodnight my darlin'
Another day has passed
Forget all those painful memories

Our love's gonna lastCome to me baby
Come to me one more time
It's time we got movin'
Time to move onLet's slide out the door
Let's slide out the door
Ride our way home
Let's glide our way homeLet's go, let's go
Let's go, let's go
Let's go, let's go
I've come back for more

Formed in 1979 with drummer Chris Layton and bassist Jackie Newhouse, Stevie Ray Vaughan fronted the band which he named Double Trouble. The band was joined in 1981 by bass player Tommy Shannon & 1985 by keyboardist Reese Wynans. Stevie Ray Vaughan tragically died on August 27, 1990 in a helicopter accident, having taken the seat that his brother Jimmie Vaughan or some have reported Eric Clapton would have been sitting in. He had a wide range of influences, most notably Lonnie Mack, Albert King, Freddie King, Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton & Jimi Hendrix.
