Change The World Lyrics

Thinking of the mess was made
You became a part of me
Thinking of the wish you made
To break free
Playing you like I can
Shoving it in your face
This doesn't break your heart
I'm the one to blameI never wanted to change your world
I always wanted the simple things
And whatever happens now
It can't be realThinking that you might betray
My own private fantasy
I'm the one that gives
What you need
Playing you like I can
Shoving it in your face
If this doesn't tear you apart
I'm the one to blameI never wanted to change your world

I always wanted the simple things
And whatever happens now
It can't be realI never wanted to change your world
I always wanted the simple things
And whatever happens now
It can't be realNow you're gone
I feel betrayed
You can't blame me
You walked away
Now you're gone
You can't blame me
You walked awayI never wanted to change your world
I always wanted the simple things
And whatever happens now
It can't be realI never wanted to change your world
I always wanted the simple things
And whatever happens now
It can't be realI never wanted to change your world
I always wanted the simple things
And whatever happens now
It can't be realI never wanted to change your world
I always wanted the simple things

Cold are from Jacksonville, Florida, USA. With the release of their self-titled debut, "Cold," in 1998, the band quickly became known for its angsty lyrics and the singer's distinctive voice. "Cold" has obvious touches of grunge, but on the following album, "13 Ways to Bleed on Stage," Cold changed towards a more ambivalent, and in some ways, alternative hard rock with slightly calmer, angst inspired songs.
