Chewbacca - Monsterland

There are at least two bands known by this name: 1. A '90s Danbury, CT band that released a bunch of 7"-ers on a slew of labels (MUDD, Rockville, SpinArt, etc) plus an EP ("Loser Friendly") on SpinArt, before signing with mini-major Seed for a full-length CD ("Destroy What You Love") and an EP of outtakes, compilation tracks, and single sides ("At One With Time"). Monsterland's Thom Monahan went on to play with bands like The Lilys, Pernice Brothers and Scud Mountain Boys, and has produced records by Devendra Banhart, Brightblack Morning Light, Lavender Diamond, and Vetiver, among others.
