Chinese Fork Tie Lyrics

Said you were
10 feet tall, yeah and bulletproof
10 feet tall, yeah and bulletproof
You can live that way
But it's hard to move
It's a little maze, little trueAt the bottom
Oh, they all want proof
And at the top
No one's making room
So brace yourself and then accelerate
Sure you'll get there soonYou can live
(I watch you work)
Live like this
This is it
(I watch you work)
DeviantYou can live
(And I watch you work)
Live with this

You can live
This is itHey, yeah, take the big man down
Hey, yeah, four times, chump crownHey, yeah, take the big man down
Hey, yeah, four times, chump crownI am wide eyed
Waiting on the truth
But I'm thinking of ways to silence youClose-at-hand
(You can live)
Commonplace and cruel
(Live like this)
Rude joke
(This is it)
Jury-rigged, tool
(This is it)Hey, yeah, take the big man down
Hey, yeah, four times, chump crownHey, yeah, take the big man down
Hey, yeah, four times, chump crownHey, yeah, take the big man down
Hey, yeah, four times, chump crownHey, yeah, take the big man down
Hey, four times, chump crown

Jawbox was a post-hardcore band which formed in 1989 in Washington D.C., United States. The band consisted of J Robbins (vocals, guitar), Bill Barbot (guitar), Kim Coletta (bass) and Adam Wade (drums). The band split in 1997. In their eight-year existence, Jawbox released four studio albums of increasingly skillful post-punk, not necessarily carrying the torch of their Washington DC, elders (Minor Threat, Embrace, Rites of Spring), but instead building on the tradition of Chicago's thriving early-'80s scene (Big Black, Naked Raygun, Effigies).
