Chopsticks Lyrics

I met him at a party and he told me how to drive him home
He said he liked to do it backwards
I said, "That's just fine with me,
That way we can fuck and watch TV."
It was four a.m. and the light was gray, like it always is in paperbacks
He asked if I liked playing jacks
I told him that I was good to sixes
But all hell broke loose after that
I told him that I knew Julia Roberts when I was twelve at summer camp
We didn't say anything after that
I dropped him off and I drove on home
'Cause secretly I'm timid

He also performed as a singer and piano player on 18 recordings using other names such as Ali Hassan, Crazy Luke, The Galaxies, Dudley Duncan and Al Anthony. When he was sixteen, he had his first song arranged by Nelson Riddle and recorded on R.C.A. As a music producer, Hazan produced over 50 records, released on various labels including Capitol Records, United Artists Records, Rendezvous Records, Philles Records, Ava Records and Columbia Records. He worked with Fred Astaire, Sonny Bono, Herb Alpert, Jack Nitzsche, Nick Venet, Terry Melcher, Lou Adler and studio giants Hal Blaine, Carol Kaye, Glen Campbell, Leon Russell, Ray Pullman, Tommy Tedesco and the rest of the first call sessioneers in Los Angeles.
