Dicte (given name: Benedicte Westergaard Madsen) was born 9th september 1966 in Glostrup, Denmark. She is a talented singer, songwriter and musician with an impressive career, although she could have deserved more hits. From 1989 to 1993, she was the lead singer in the aarhus band Her Personal Pain who released 4 songs on a compilation in 1990 and an album in 1992 called Songs from Cinema Café. The music was indie pop/rock and the band won a danish grammy award as best new name in 1992.
