Hi! I'm Kari Kynn. Born in Eldora Iowa, raised in Southern Calif. Wonderful, but poor parents. I was the light of their life, I was so lucky. My dad, who had a beautiful voice, would sit me on his knee and sing to me. That's how I started singing. Was on TV before I was In kindergarten. I'm now 66. Recorded from age 13 to 15. Made 12 songs, only 10 were stamped on 5 records. I got married at 16, had 5 kids and 10 grandkids. Became an ICU nurse, sang to my patients an families when they were feeling low. Some times I made a real personal impact on their lives, giving them this gift. Was married almost 50 years until he died in January of this year. Now I'm retired and raising a 5 year old granddaughter. I sing to her every night. Recently posted all 10 of my songs on i tunes, as an album. "Summer Day 61'-63' ". If you type in Kari Lynn, a few different Kari Lynn's will come up. (There is more than one now) My songs have a picture of me at age 13 in front of them. My favorites were Summer Day, Lonesome and Sorry, and Your Heart is breaking my heart. I can still sing, not quite as well as then. Have trouble with the high, powerful notes.
