Close Lyrics

Baby, it's been a while 'cuz I don't sleep around
I'm choosy 'bout who I give my love to
Don't wanna disappoint ya
'Cause I been sayin' how much I want you
Feels first one like I'm real sure, oh, I
I'm so close
(I'm so close and I)
I can feel it
(Feel it, oh)
I'm so close
(I'm so close)
I can feel it
(I can feel it, um)
Started on the telephone, promisin' all night long
Didn't know what I was gettin' myself into
Up and down, back and forth
Slow down and give me more
Tryin' to fight it but I don't think it's right to

I'm so close
(Oh yeah)
I can feel it
(Said I can feel it, baby, oh)
I'm so close
(Oh, no)
I can feel it
(I can feel it, I can feel it, baby
Oh, let me hold you)
Body's touchin' then we kissin'
Holdin' tight, sweat dripping
I can feel you all over me
Heart racing, you're running
I'm coming, can't fight it
I'm so close, I can feel it
(I can fight it, no)
I'm so close, I can feel it
(I'm so close, baby, I don't want oh)
I'm close, I'm close, I'm close
I'm close, I'm close, I'm close
I'm close, I'm close, I'm close
I'm close, I'm close, I'm close

Biff Bang Pow! were an indie pop band from London, England, active between 1983 and 1991, centering around Creation Records boss Alan McGee. The initial Biff Bang Pow! line-up was McGee on guitar and vocals, with Dick Green on guitar, Slaughter Joe (Joe Foster) on bass, and Ken Popple on drums, these recording the first 2 singles "50 Years of Fun" and "There Must Be A Better Life". Dave Evans then replaced Foster (who went solo as Slaughter Joe), and guitarist/organist Andrew Innes (later to join Primal Scream) joined on a part-time basis.
