Cold Case Lyrics

Intro:Awww
Love is such a beautiful thing, so f**king beautiful.
Especially in the beginning
When everyone's so happy, and so honest, and so real and loving and affectionate
And there for you and not cheating on you
And not f**king some other b***hVerse 1:
I got this case on my hands, that I can't crack
But I've been gathering all that I can
One of the those things that I must understand, understand
Cause you went and changed up on me
Much too fast, talk about lighting speed, lighting speed
But it ain't no unsolvable mystery
I gotta get down to itChorus:
My eyes and ears are open wide
Gon' take my time
But I'm gon' find the answer to this mystery
Boy, you ain't heard the last from me
Wooo-ooohhhh

Woooo-oooohhhhhh
Wooo-ooohhhh
Woooo-oooohhhhhh
Woooo-oooohhhhhh
Woooo-oooohhhhhh
Wooo-ooohhhh
Woooo-oooohhhhhhVerse 2:
She, she ain't got nothing on me
Could it be her, or maybe your stupid enough
I'm not sure
I really don't know you so well anymore, anymore
But still, still I can't sleep well at night
Until, til I get down to it (get down to it)
I put away the piles of files on my desk
I won't restChorus: (Repeat 2X)
My eyes and ears are open wide
Gon' take my time
But I'm gon' find the answer to this mystery
Boy, you ain't heard the last from me
Wooo-ooohhhh
Woooo-oooohhhhhh
Wooo-ooohhhh
Woooo-oooohhhhhh
Woooo-oooohhhhhh
Woooo-oooohhhhhh
Wooo-ooohhhh
Woooo-oooohhhhhh

The Not Tonight Songfacts says that Elle Varner was born of two published songwriters, her mother, singer Mikelyn Roderick was a backup vocalist for Barry White and her father Jimmy Varner is a songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, who has collaborated with Kool & the Gang and Will Downing. Elle spent most of her childhood sleeping on studio couches, running around green rooms, and watching her parents struggle to make a name in the industry. Its no surprise that Varner was singing as soon as she could speak, playing the flute at 6 and the piano at 9.
