I Don't Care Lyrics

Verse 1:
I'm going lose this game
I've got no poker face
I'm not designed for this, this, this
If I could speak in code
I wouldn't be so bold
I can't control my lips, lips, lips
I've never been subtle, and
I tend to be too loud but
I'm not ashamed of my words clearly
Hook:
I'm going, I'm going into the deep end
Far over my head
It's so unfair
I'm gone & it's showing
All over my skin
Everyone knows

Gone & it shows
But I don't care
Verse 2:
How do you make me smile ?
Simply by telling the time
You've got those zealous eyes, eyes, I
I could just stare all day
Lay there & melt away
I'm such a helpless case, case, case
I done away with my pride
They say I'm out of my mind
Can't even say it's a lie clearly
Hook:
I'm going, I'm going into the deep end
Far over my head
It's so unfair
I'm gone & it's showing
All over my skin
Everyone knows
Gone & it shows
But I don't care
Going, going, going, going
Into the deep end
Into the deep end
Going, going, going, going
Far
Clearly
Hook:
I'm going, I'm going into the deep end
Far over my head
It's so unfair
I'm gone & it's showing
All over my skin
Everyone knows
Gone & it shows

The Not Tonight Songfacts says that Elle Varner was born of two published songwriters, her mother, singer Mikelyn Roderick was a backup vocalist for Barry White and her father Jimmy Varner is a songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, who has collaborated with Kool & the Gang and Will Downing. Elle spent most of her childhood sleeping on studio couches, running around green rooms, and watching her parents struggle to make a name in the industry. Its no surprise that Varner was singing as soon as she could speak, playing the flute at 6 and the piano at 9.
