Collapse Lyrics

The host of the show comes down
To collapse on the ground
And the crime scene revisits meThis body shut down in Bordeaux
And on the shores of gold coast
On the balcony I search for sleepThe future has fallen short
When the sun sets north
And the clouds fall from the mirrored wallsWords speak and choose
Will make sense and lose
Capsize the tall tale but always failWords speak and choose
Will make sense and lose
Forfeit the tall tale, I always willThe host had his mouth sewn shut
All in the name of trust
When the blood goes thin, he's given inYou can spare us the formal toast
The drunken anecdotes
From this day on, goes on and onYou know when he falls apart
He listens in the dark
To the records turn, I'll never learnTo set it down
You'll set it down

You'll set it downTo set it down
You'll set it down
You'll set it downWords speak and choose
Will make sense and lose
Capsize the tall tale but always failWords speak and choose
Will make sense and lose
Forfeit the tall tale, I always willTo set it down
You'll set it down
You'll set it downTo set it down
You'll set it down
You'll set it down

There are at least two bands by the name of Sparta. 1. An American alternative rock band active in the 2000's
2. A British metal band active in the 1980's
1. Sparta is an alternative rock band which formed in El Paso, Texas in 2001. The band originally consisted of Jim Ward (vocals), Paul Hinojos (guitar) and Tony Hajjar (drums), all former members of At the Drive-In. After a brief stint with Erick Sanger, the three of them recruited Matt Miller, an El Paso native and then-bassist of Belknap to become the band's permanent bassist.
