College Lyrics

See, women change every day
So that means that you have to learn her every day
You know? It's like going back to college, man
Let me show you what I've learned about my wifeShe's got the cutest little laugh
Bottom lip twitches when she's mad
Favorite position from the back
Loves that musician, Robin Thicke
She gets her temper from her dad
Likes to say we just couldn't have
I know her like the back of my hand
So whatever she wants she can haveI treat her like college
I'm trying to get knowledge
Learning your girl is a science
Treat her like college
Go to class every day
So if you pay attention you can learn her ways
Like college, study in abroad
Learning all of her, man, ain't hard

Treat her like college
And you can gone on back
You won't need a grant for thatShe likes long walks through the park
A little afraid of the dark
Her ex-boyfriend broke her heart
Her self esteem is ripped apart
She likes to gaze up at the stars
Believe there's aliens on Mars
Her favorite color is pink and orange
Her favorite food is fish and cornI treat her like college
I'm trying to get knowledge
Learning your girl is a science
Treat her like college
Go to class every day
So if you pay attention you can learn her ways
Like college, study in abroad
Learning all of her, man, ain't hard
Treat her like college
And you can gone on back
You won't need a grant for thatI would take all the water out the sea to wash your hair
I would take all the birds out of the trees to sing you to sleep
'Cause I care
I would burn all the money in the world to keep you warm
And I would bring Michael Jackson back to life to moonwalk to your favorite song, baby
This is what I'd do, the impossible, do the impossible
This is what I'd do, the impossible, the illogical, we're unstoppableI treat her like college
I'm trying to get knowledge
Learning your girl is a science
Treat her like college
Go to class every day
So if you pay attention you can learn her ways
Like college, study in abroad
Learning all of her, man, ain't hard
Treat her like college
And you can gone on back
You won't need a grant for that

Lyfe Jennings (born Chester Jennings in Toledo, Ohio) is an African American R&B and soul singer-songwriter, record producer, and instrumentalist. He plays the guitar, bass, and piano which he integrates into his music.

Jennings began singing at a young age in a Toledo church choir. He later joined a group called The Dotsons with two of his cousins and his older brother, Jay. The group separated in the early 1990s, and Jennings rediscovered music and started a music program at an Ohio prison where he was serving a ten-year sentence on an arson-related charge. He has cited Erykah Badu's 1997 album Baduizm as one of the reasons for his rediscovery. Jennings was released from prison in December 2002 and started to pursue a solo career in music. In January 2003, he performed in Harlem at the Showtime at The Apollo. The same year, he also independently released his first EP, What Is Love. To further pursue his career, Jennings moved to New York City where he performed at rapper Nelly's concert at Radio City Music Hall, at an NAACP convention where he performed an original song called "Thank God for the NAACP", and at the Cafeteria in Chelsea, Manhattan during the blackout on August 14. He signed with Columbia Records and released his debut album Lyfe 268-192 (268-192 was his inmate number) in August 2004. His first single was Stick Up Kid, which didn't see much sucess until after the album was released. The album featured his hit single "Must Be Nice". Jennings' second album The Phoenix was released in August 2006. The first single, "S.E.X.", feautures Jennings' protégé, singer LaLa Brown.
