Colourless Colour Lyrics

You say it's coming but I can't see it at all
You know me well but I don't know you at all
No, I don't know you at all
It's always just on the horizon so my hopes rise and fall
You know me well but I don't know you at all
No, I don't know you at all
Early nineties decor, it was a day for
We wanted to play but we had nothing left to play for
Colorless color once in fashion and soon to be seen
Early nineties decor, it was a day for
We wanted to play but we had nothing left to play for
Colorless color once in fashion and soon to be seen
Been dreaming of blue skies, new horizons and sights for my eyes
The discovery of the unknown is something to tell the folks back home
I wanna get away to feel the sun on my skin, to feel it really sinking in
Early nineties decor, it was a day for
We wanted to play but we had nothing left to play for
Colorless color once in fashion and soon to be seen

Early nineties decor, it was a day for
We wanted to play but we had nothing left to play for
Colorless color once in fashion and soon to be seen
Early nineties decor, it was a day for
We wanted to play but we had nothing left to play for
Colorless color once in fashion and soon to be seen
Early nineties decor, it was a day for
We wanted to play but we had nothing left to play for
Colorless color once in fashion and soon to be rediscovered

La Roux are an English electropop duo formed in 2008 in London, United Kingdom. The band consists of Elly Jackson (born 12 March 1988; singer and keyboardist) and Ben Langmaid (co-writer and co-producer). Their music is largely influenced by 80s pop music including Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, The Human League, Heaven 17, Yazoo and Prince. The name La Roux (pronounced lah-roo) is reported to be chosen when Elly found it in a book of baby names. La Roux comes from the mix of the French masculine word for "redhead" and the feminine article for "the", referring to Jackson's distinctive hairstyle.
