Come Alive Lyrics

I don't mind if it rains for a century
I don't mind the rain
I don't mind if you're here laying next to me
I don't mind the pain
So put it on me, put it on me, ah, ah
Put it on me, I want your love
Put it on me
Come alive, see it when I come alive
See it when I come alive
I revive, see it when I come alive
See it when I come alive
Fire runs through my veins at the speed of light
Fire through my veins
(I want your love, I want your love)
A thousand suns lead the way to an endless night
I can't ease the pain
(I want your love, I want your love)
Come alive, see it when I come alive

See it when I come alive
I revive, see it when I come alive
See it when I come alive
See it when I come alive
See it when I come alive
See it when I come alive
I don't mind if it rains for a century
I don't mind the rain
So put it on me, put it on me, ah, ah
Put it on me, I want your love
Put it on me
Come alive, see it when I come alive
See it when I come alive
I revive, see it when I come alive
See it when I come alive
See it when I come alive
See it when I come alive
See it when I come alive

British dance-pop outfit, State of Grace was formed in the early '90s by classically trained vocalist Sarah Simmonds and guitarist Paul Arnall. The group debuted in England with a string of danceable singles that were largely reminiscent of the Cocteau Twins' dreamy, melodic pop. The first of these singles, "Camden," appeared in 1992, and was followed by "Love Pain and Passion" and "Miss You," all of which were later included on a compilation of singles and rarities titled Pacific Motion. In 1993, they released the Hello EP, to moderate critical response.
