Counting Waves Lyrics

Why do you fear change
You're folding in trust
And I'm trying to help you see
Your eyes so fixed and hollow
Only serve to paralyze this dreamGo on carry on
I'll be counting waves
Go on carry on
I'll be counting wavesWhen you go near the edge
You'll see the waters rise
The tide under this moonlit sky
Will pull you out
And take you intoWhy do you feel shame
Isn't this love
Cause I'm trying to help you see
Can you not seek to follow
Can you not seek to know
The space betweenGo on carry on
I'll be counting waves

Fear not to last
This too shall pass
Love your daysWhen you go near the edge
You'll see the waters rise
The tide under this moonlit sky
Will pull you out
And take you intoWhy do we fear change
When everything's locked
And we're trying to find the key
Today is just a shadow
Of what tomorrow could beGo on carry on
Be strong
Counting waves
Fear not to last
This too shall pass
Love your daysWhen you go near the edge
You'll see the waters rise
The tide under this moonlit sky
Will pull you out
And take you into
