Counting the Stars Lyrics

Lets keep this
Ever so quiet oh so quiet oh I like it alone
I'll wait for you forever
So
This is the part at the end of act 1,
Where I turn to you and say number one,
We're just getting started, we're just warming up
So I'll kiss you again and again and again
Oh Oh Oh Oh
I fall in love but no never in grace
So young, so wrong
We're counting the stars, counting the stars
I could be,
Just like him I'm dying, throw me a rope for my throat
Watch me fall
Watch my breaking your heart again,
Breaking you're heart again now
This is the part at the end of act 1,

Where I turn to you and say number one,
I'll wait for you forever so
Oh Oh Oh Oh
I fall in love but no never in grace
So young, so wrong
We're counting the stars, counting the stars
Oh Oh Oh Oh
I fall in love but no never in grace
So young, so wrong
We're counting the stars, counting the stars
I can count on you to win or lose it's gonna drown us from inside
Save the escape, save the escape
And I'll kiss you again and again and again and again and again
I can count on you to win or lose it's gonna drown us from inside
Save the escape, save the escape
And I'll kiss you again and again and again and again and again
Oh Oh Oh Oh
I fall in love but no never in grace
So young, so wrong
We're counting the stars, counting the stars
Oh Oh Oh Oh
I fall in love but no never in grace
So young, so wrong
We're counting the stars, counting the stars
We're counting the stars
Oh Oh Oh Oh
We're counting the stars, counting the stars

Centro-matic falls within the vanguard of alt-country indie rock that Uncle Tupelo began to define and Wilco did with A.M. and Being There. Centro-matic's music, though reliant on poppy hooks, also contains a fair amount of experimentation. Not quite as alt-country-ish as Ryan Adams or Okkervil River, Centro-matic blends warm, often plucked, acoustic guitars and the occasional kicked-in distortion pedal with the multi-layered falsetto of former Funland drummer, Will Johnson. Some of Centro-matic's members cross over into the side project: South San Gabriel.
