Coventry Carol Lyrics

Anything we should know about your change? -- Lullay, thou little tiny child
By by lullay lullaye
Lullay, thou little tiny child
By by lullay lullaye
O sisters, too, how may we do
For to preserve this day
This poor youngling for whom we sing?
By by lullay lullaye
Herod the King, in his raging
Charged he hath this day
His men of might, in his own sight
All children young, to slay
Lullay, thou little tiny child
By by lullay lullaye
For Thy parting, nor say nor sing

By by lullay lullaye
Then woe is me, poor child, for thee
By by lullay lullaye

Seven Octaves is an electro/synthpop musician from Long Island, NY. His music is described as "an eclectic and mellow blend of IDM, jazz, progressive and avant-garde influences." (Regen Magazine). Many tracks have a distinctive absence of bass and/or cymbals. Seven Octaves uses all original samples & beats, and favors free software synths. His first release "Snow Frogs" featured retro sounding synths and beats combined with bizarre vocal samples (mostly of voiceover artist Chris Mezzolesta) and atmospheric sounds taken from live performances.
