Covergirl Lyrics

She's on the cover of a magazine
A show face if you know what I mean
And those eyes so shocking blue uh-uh
You're never gonna be her number one
A deadly case of hit and run
She never takes things out of the blue uh-uh
And here comes her lover
And she's a first class on the cover
And that's when it all makes sense to you
She just don't belong with you
Here comes another
Another boy who will discover
Find out what you already knew
She's got a different point of view

She's on the cover and you know her name
Sunglasses in the pouring rain
Everyday she wears something new uh-uh
You're never gonna be her number one
A deadly case of hit and run
She never takes things out of the blue uh-uh
And here comes her lover
And she's a first class on the cover
And that's when it all makes sense to you
She just don't belong with you
Here comes another
Another boy who will discover
Find out what you already knew
She's got a different point of view
Here comes her lover
And she's a first class on the cover
And that's when it all makes sense to you
She just don't belong to you
Here comes another
Another boy who will discover
Find out what you already knew
She's got a different point of view

Formed in 2000, Melody Club is a synthpop band, who grew up in a small town called Växjö in Sweden and met in school. Singer Kristofer was living in the rehearsal room with no kitchen, no toilet, no heating. This was where he wrote many of the songs for their first album on a 3-string acoustic guitar. The boredom of the small town drove them away to the capital city of Stockholm. They took odd jobs spent the rest of the time making new songs and recording demos. The band was offered a record deal in 2002.
