Crooked Lyrics

On the corner there's a bunch of people livin cause they haven't got a place to stay
The president can't see them no he doesn't give a fuck
and their anger grows and grows each dayWell I can see the government is putting on a show
I can see right through it, it's fuckin crooked to the bone
It's a time bombSomewhere in a factory there's a little guy working off his balls for the minimum wage
While the big guys sits around just standing in his office making money on his ass all dayWell I can see right through it, and it's crooked to the bone
It's a fuckin time bomb fuckin ready to explode
It's a time bomb
Unity's the answer and we gotta join together
cause it's gettin harder every day
Start a revolution, tell those fuckers in power
to get the fuck out of our way
Well I can see right through it, and it's crooked to the bone
I can see right through it, it's fuckin crooked to the bone
It's a time bomb
It's gonna be a time bomb

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Slapstick was a Chicago-based (many members were from Elgin, IL) ska/punk band active from 1993-1996, consisting of Brendan Kelly (vocals), Dan Andriano (bass), Dan Hanaway (trumpet), Matt Stamps (guitar), Rob Kellenberger (drums), and Peter Anna (trombone). They toured extensively and played endless shows in the greater Chicagoland area. They were signed to Asian Man Records. Reports exist that Slapstick turned down large amounts of money to sign to a major label, and instead broke up in 1996.
