Cry Cry Cry Lyrics

Well, you’d think that I was happy
By the smile on my face
But the second
Someone speaks your name
Like a baby I cry, cry, cry all night long
Down, down, down in the bottom of the bottle, hey
You oughta be ashamed
You left a good man in a bad way
You left a good man in a bad way, yeah
Your old red Nissan truck
I guess it ain’t so rare
'Cause ever since you left me
Man, I’ve been seein’ 'em every where
I called up my DJ
I made my request
I said, "Please, please don'tcha play that song
‘Cause my baby’s gone and every time it comes on"

I cry, cry, cry all night long
Down, down, down in the bottom of the bottle, hey
You oughta be ashamed
You left a good man in a bad way
You left a good man in a bad way
All in love been walkin’ in a daze
Thinkin’ that your heart would never break
Well baby, just you wait
Like a baby you’ll cry, cry, cry all night long
Down, down, down in the bottom of the bottle, hey
You oughta be ashamed
You left a good man in a bad way
You left a good man in a bad way
You left a good man in a bad way
You left a good man in a bad way, hey

The Unrelated Segments are a Taylor, Michigan based teen rocker group formed in late 1966 around the nucleus of singer Ron Stults and lead guitarist Rory Mack, who together previously teamed in the short-lived Village Beaus. Also including rhythm guitarist John Torok, bassist Barry Van Engelen and drummer Andy Angellotti, the Segments wrote their first original, "The Story of My Life," after just their second rehearsal session; they soon entered the local United Sound studio to record the track, issuing it as their SVR label debut single in early 1967.
